The Microlution Advantage
Injection Molding
  • Directly machine many of the parts that are traditionally micro-injection molded.
  • Avoid purchasing an intricate mold for producing only a few test parts.
  • Save upwards of $40,000 on intricate molds. Microlution’s technology provides a faster, less expensive and higher quality alternative.
Stereo Lithography (SLA)
  • Utilize a broader range of materials than possible with SLA
  • Generate parts that are 5-10 times more accurate than possible with SLA
  • Higher surface quality than possible with SLA
Traditional Machining using macro machine tools
  • Provides better accuracy, performance, and part handling capabilities, which are required to handle small parts, compared to traditional CNC machine tools
  • More cost effective solution for micromachining than the traditional CNC machine tools
  • Small foot print and simple utility requirements for easy factory installation when compared to traditional CNC machine tools
Stamping/Forming
  • Directly machine many of the parts that are traditionally stamped and/or formed.
  • Avoid purchasing an intricate die for producing only a few test parts.
  • Provides a faster, less expensive and higher quality alternative when producing low volume or prototype parts than stamping/forming.
Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM)
  • Flexibility to work with a wide range of materials whereas EDM is only useful for working with metals.
Laser Based Machining
  • Higher productivity resulting in a higher quality part when compared to laser based machining.
